<p style="text-align: justify;">The Hold of Science journal is a scientific journal in the field of Islamic Studies and Religious Studies managed by the Qamarul Huda Postgraduate Islamic College, Bagu-Central Lombok Regency. The Hold of Science Journal publishes academic papers and research for scholars, either students, lecturers or researchers. Scientific papers and research published by the Hold of Science Journal demonstrate, articulate, explore and explain the integration between Islamic Studies, Religious Studies, Science and Social Sciences within the framework of the Scientific Tradition. Popular issues prioritized by the Hold of Science journal are the relationship between religion and realities in political, legal, economic, educational, social, cultural, behavioral and science-technology. The study model promoted by the Hold of Science journal is the Multi-Trans-Interdisciplinary model. The Hold of Science journal publishes articles twice a year, in April and November. <p>Islamic boarding schools (Pondok Pesantren), known as pondok pesantren, as traditional Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia, face serious challenges related to radicalism. The phenomenon of radicalism in the name of religion has become a threat to national stability and social harmony. This research examines the strategic role of pondok pesantren in countering radical ideologies and the efforts made to strengthen religious moderation among students. Through a descriptive qualitative approach, it is found that pesantren have significant potential in curbing the tide of radicalism through the strengthening of a moderate Islamic-based curriculum, the development of a culture of tolerance, and the enhancement of the capacity of ustaz (teachers) in spreading counter-radicalism narratives. However, pesantren also face obstacles such as limited resources and a lack of comprehensive understanding of radicalism. Therefore, synergy between pesantren, the government, and society is needed to optimize the role of pesantren as a defense fortress against radicalism while maintaining the existence of Islam as a blessing for all creation (rahmatan lil 'alamin).</p>Dedi Irawan

<p><span class="fontstyle0">The political dynamics of zakat law in Indonesia represent a significant intersection of government<br>policy and implementation challenges. As a religious obligation for Muslims, zakat serves not only as<br>a means of spiritual fulfillment but also as a potential driver for socio-economic development. This<br>paper investigates the governmental frameworks that regulate zakat and the initiatives to enhance its<br>collection and distribution. Despite the establishment of institutions such as the National Zakat<br>Agency (BAZNAS) and regional zakat organizations, the effective implementation of zakat is<br>impeded by various factors, including limited public awareness, inconsistent regulatory practices, and<br>differing interpretations of zakat across communities. Moreover, political interests and bureaucratic<br>obstacles further complicate the effective utilization of zakat in addressing issues of poverty and<br>social inequality. <p>This study explores the role of pesantren caregivers in addressing <em>bullying</em> cases, focusing on their functions, the strategies employed, and recommendations for improved practices. Using a library research method, the study analyzes relevant literature, including books and articles on pesantren education and <em>bullying</em> management. The findings reveal that pesantren caregivers perform multifaceted roles as disciplinarians, moral educators, and conflict mediators. They implement <em>bullying</em> management strategies that include preventive approaches, direct interventions, and psychological support. Preventive approaches involve educational programs to raise awareness, direct interventions address detected <em>bullying</em> cases, and psychological support helps victims recover from trauma. This study recommends the development of comprehensive anti-<em>bullying</em> educational programs, enhanced mediation skills for caregivers through specialized training, and the integration of psychological support into student welfare programs. Implementing these recommendations is expected to improve the effectiveness of <em>bullying</em> management and create a safer pesantren environment. <p>Violence and bullying in pesantren are significant issues that impact the well-being of students and the quality of the educational environment. This study aims to analyze the factors triggering violence and bullying in pesantren and the strategies for prevention. Using a literature review approach, the research examines relevant literature to identify individual, social, and structural factors contributing to bullying behavior. The findings indicate that individual factors such as aggression and the need for attention, social dynamics involving hierarchies between senior and junior students, and inadequate family support are crucial in the occurrence of bullying. The effects of bullying include psychological disturbances, decreased academic performance, and social isolation, all of which can affect students' overall well-being. Effective prevention strategies involve an integrated approach that includes character education, training for caregivers and teachers, and the implementation of stringent anti-bullying policies. Programs like "Santri Sahabat" and ongoing evaluation of anti-bullying policies can enhance prevention effectiveness. The study concludes that addressing bullying issues in pesantren requires the involvement of the entire pesantren community and a comprehensive approach to create a safer and more supportive environment.</p>Rian Hidayat

<p>The development of information and communication technology has brought significant changes in da'wah methods, enabling the spread of Islamic teachings through social media, applications and e-learning platforms. This research uses a qualitative approach to analyze how information technology changes da'wah methods, the views of ulama about digital da'wah, and the effectiveness of social media platforms in da'wah. The research results show that digital da'wah is able to reach a wider audience and provide religious education flexibly, especially among the younger generation who are more familiar with technology. However, there are challenges in maintaining the authenticity and accuracy of Islamic teachings and preventing the spread of misinformation. Islamic scholars and institutions support the use of technology in da'wah as long as it remains in accordance with Islamic principles. Social media platforms, da'wah apps, webinars and podcasts have become important tools in modern da'wah, increasing the appeal and effectiveness of spreading Islamic teachings. the importance of integrating technology with strategic and ethical approaches in contemporary da'wah to ensure the relevance and effectiveness of da'wah in modern society.</p>Suaeb Suaeb
