Peer Review Process
All articles submitted to Hold: Journal of Islamic Studies will be selected, read and reviewed in a closed (blind peer review) by (at least) 2 reviewers who are experts in their fields. Acceptance of the article depends on the correctness of the content, the level of originality, the clarity of the description, and the suitability for the purpose of the journal.
The Editorial Board's decision on the submitted article is whether the article can be accepted without revision, accepted with minor revisions, accepted with major revisions, or rejected. The results of the article review by the reviewer will be notified to the author via email. Authors are given the opportunity to revise their articles in accordance with the reviewers' (and editors') suggestions no later than 4 weeks after the notification email.
To prevent plagiarism, all submitted articles will be checked for originality using Turnitin anti-plagiarism software.
