Abstract

Abstract:

This article explores the strategies adopted by local communities in facing the challenges of globalization in the modern era, from an Islamic perspective. Globalization has brought significant changes across social, economic, and cultural domains. Local communities, particularly those rooted in Islamic values, have devised strategies to maintain their identities and traditional values while engaging with global dynamics. The paper identifies several strategies employed, such as strengthening religious education, promoting locally-based economies, and revitalizing local cultures anchored in Islamic principles. This analysis provides insights into how local communities integrate Islamic values in their efforts to adapt and sustain amidst the multifaceted impacts of globalization.
