RELEVANSI PONDOK PESANTREN UNTUK PENDIDIKAN YANG LEBIH BAIK
Abstract
Islamic boarding schools, as traditional Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia, face significant challenges in adapting to the developments of the modern era. This article explores the role of Islamic boarding schools in the context of quality and relevant education in the age of globalization and technology. Utilizing a qualitative approach and literature review, this study identifies key strategies employed by Islamic boarding schools to integrate Islamic values with modern curricula and enhance educational quality to produce competent and competitive graduates. The article also highlights internal and external factors influencing the development of Islamic boarding schools as sustainable centers of education relevant to the future.
