STRATEGI GURU DALAM MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA DI SDN 1 OMBE BARU KEDIRI LOMBOK BARAT
Abstract
This article aims: (1) To detect the students' learning motivation in language leassons at SDN 1 Ombe Baru. (2) To find out the teacher's strategy in increasing students' motivation in language leassons at SDN 1 Ombe Baru. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation with the subject of the principal, third grade teacher and third grade student of SDN 1 Ombe Baru. The results showed that: (1) Learning motivation in language leassins at SDN 1 Ombe Baru can be seen that the learning motivation is less than optimal. This can be seen from several attitudes that show a lack of enthusiasm for students in learning such as there were still students who chatted each other, did not do assignments, and some were even sleepy. (2) The strategies applied by teachers of language leassons subjects to increase students' learning motivation are: Expository Strategy, strategies for providing incentives or strengthening and utilizing adequate facilities and infrastructure
