Strategi Pelestarian Alam dan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat di Desa Sedau

Abstract: The B3KL program conducted by students of Institut Agama Islam Qamarul Huda in Sedau Village, Narmada District, West Lombok Regency, aimed to enhance community awareness and participation in environmental conservation. Using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, the program actively engaged the community through three main activities: utilizing nao trees to produce sago as a sustainable food alternative, managing plastic waste based on the 3R principles with craft innovations, and tree planting in the Gunung Jae tourist area and Grodokan spring. The results show that selective harvesting of nao trees helps maintain ecosystem sustainability, plastic waste management reduces pollution while providing economic value, and tree planting in water catchment areas strengthens clean water availability and preserves ecological functions. The synergy of these three activities creates sustainable ecological, social, and educational benefits for students, the community, and the environment.

Abstrak: Kegiatan B3KL yang dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa Institut Agama Islam Qamarul Huda di Desa Sedau, Kecamatan Narmada, Kabupaten Lombok Barat, bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan partisipasi masyarakat dalam pelestarian lingkungan. Menggunakan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR), program ini melibatkan masyarakat secara aktif melalui tiga kegiatan utama: pemanfaatan pohon nao menjadi sagu sebagai pangan alternatif berkelanjutan, pengelolaan sampah plastik berbasis prinsip 3R dengan inovasi kerajinan, dan penanaman pohon di kawasan wisata Gunung Jae serta sumber mata air Grodokan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pemanenan selektif pohon nao mampu mempertahankan kelestarian ekosistem, pengelolaan sampah plastik mengurangi pencemaran sekaligus memberikan nilai tambah ekonomi, dan penanaman pohon di daerah resapan air memperkuat ketersediaan air bersih serta menjaga fungsi ekologis. Sinergi ketiga kegiatan ini menciptakan manfaat ekologis, sosial, dan edukatif yang berkelanjutan, baik bagi mahasiswa, masyarakat, maupun lingkungan.

Environmental conservation is a shared responsibility that requires synergy among the government, community, and academics. In the B3KL thematic program in Desa Aik Bukaq, students act as agents of change by educating the community through an approach based on local wisdom. The tree planting revitalization program is carried out participatively by involving the community in all stages, from identifying environmental needs, selecting appropriate tree species, to post-planting maintenance. This approach, which combines scientific knowledge and local culture, successfully instills a strong sense of ownership and ecological awareness within the community. It shows that the success of environmental conservation heavily depends on active community involvement and the embedding of deep-rooted cultural values. This program serves as a best practice example of community-based environmental conservation that can be a model for other stakeholders.

Program Belajar Berkarya Berbasis Kerja Lapangan (B3KL) adalah wujud kongkret dari dedikasi mahasiswa kepada masyarakat, serta pelaksanaan tanggung jawab lingkungan yang berlandaskan pada prinsip-prinsip Islam. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan kontribusi mahasiswa dalam menjaga lingkungan melalui program B3KL di Desa Setiling, Kecamatan Batukliang Utara, Kabupaten Lombok Tengah, Nusa Tenggara Barat. Dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, data diperoleh melalui pengamatan di lokasi, wawancara dengan pemuka masyarakat, perangkat desa, serta pengumpulan dokumentasi kegiatan di lapangan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi mahasiswa dalam aktivitas penanaman pohon, penyuluhan lingkungan, dan pembersihan objek wisata lokal dapat meningkatkan kesadaran ekologis komunitas desa secara keseluruhan. Selain itu, penerapan prinsip-prinsip Islam dalam setiap aktivitas memperkuat aspek spiritual dalam pelayanan kepada masyarakat. Usaha perlindungan lingkungan yang dilakukan tidak hanya berdampak pada elemen fisik alam, tetapi juga membentuk kepribadian serta kepemimpinan sosial mahasiswa sebagai penggerak transformasi. Kegiatan ini berfungsi sebagai contoh pemberdayaan masyarakat yang berlandaskan ekoteologi dan mampu menjangkau aspek edukasi, spiritual, serta lingkungan secara bersamaan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar program B3KL dilaksanakan secara berkelanjutan sebagai bagian dari kurikulum pengabdian mahasiswa di institusi pendidikan Islam Qamarul Huda Bagu, serta membangun kemitraan dengan pemerintah desa dan LSM lingkungan demi mencapai hasil yang berkelanjutan

Sinergi Perguruan Tinggi dan Desa dalam Menghijaukan Bumi Oleh B3KL IAIQH di Desa Reban Madani

This community service activity aims to establish synergy between higher education
institutions and local villages in supporting environmental sustainability through tree planting
initiatives. The program, carried out by B3KL IAIQH in Reban Madani Village, utilizes
participatory and educational approaches to encourage awareness and action among local
residents. The method included site surveys, coordination with village stakeholders, socialization,
and directaction planting native tree species. The results show increased community engagement

The Belajar, Berkarya, Berbasis Kerja Lapangan (B3KL) program is a tangible form
of student engagement in addressing increasingly complex environmental issues, particularly in
rural areas. This study aims to describe and analyze the tree-planting activities of Ketapang
Kencana (Terminalia mantaly) and Pucuk Merah (Syzygium myrtifolium) as a strategy for
environmental conservation in Lantan Village, Batukliang Utara District, Central Lombok
Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. The research method employed is descriptive qualitative with a
participatory approach, involving students, village authorities, and local communities from the
planning to implementation stages. The results of this activity indicate that the involvement of
multiple stakeholders in the tree-planting program positively impacts the community’s ecological
awareness, improves the quality of green open spaces, and strengthens local wisdom values in
preserving nature. The planting of Ketapang Kencana helps reduce ambient temperatures and
provides shade, while Pucuk Merah serves as an aesthetic element and supports biodiversity.
Thus, the B3KL program contributes not only to the conservation of the physical environment
but also to building synergy between scientific knowledge, social action, and sustainable
community engagement.

Penguatan Karakter Spiritual Melalui Kegiatan Penghijauan Lingkungan dalam Program B3KL di Wilayah Sekotong Tengah

This study aims to examine the strengthening of participants' spiritual character through involvement in environmental greening activities implemented under the B3KL Program (Clean, Free, Blessed, and Sustainable) in the Sekotong Tengah area. Spiritual character is a vital aspect of character education, encompassing awareness of the relationship between humans, God, others, and nature. Using a descriptive qualitative method, this research explores the experiences, motivations, and behavioral changes of participants in the greening activities as part of the internalization process of spiritual values such as responsibility, care, gratitude, and love for the environment. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of the activities. The findings reveal that greening activities not only impact environmental sustainability but also serve as an effective means to foster spiritual awareness among the community, particularly the younger generation. These activities reinforce religious values, enhance social empathy, and cultivate a collective sense of responsibility toward nature as a trust from God. Thus, the B3KL Program in Sekotong Tengah can serve as an integrative model for strengthening spiritual character based on environmental stewardship.

Penerapan Program Penghijauan Berbasis Tanaman Hias dalam Meningkatkan Kualitas Estetika Lingkungan di Desa Sesaot

The ornamental plant-based greening program in Penangke Hamlet, Sesaot Village, is a form of community service aimed at improving the aesthetic quality and environmental sustainability. This activity was motivated by low community awareness of the importance of cleanliness and greening, amidst the village's significant natural tourism potential. Through a familial and mutual cooperation approach, IAIQH students, together with the community and village officials, planted 200 ornamental and hardy plant seedlings such as pucuk merah, mini ketapang, eucalyptus oil, and nyamplung along the riverbank. The activity methods included site observation, symbolic handover of seedlings, and technical assistance during planting. The results of the activity showed high community participation and a growing collective awareness of the importance of protecting the environment. This activity also contributed to preventing erosion and flooding, while supporting the development of environmentally friendly tourist villages. This program is the first step in building a culture of sustainable environmental care at the village level.

Penguatan Nilai Ekologis Melalui Program Penghijauan Berbasis B3KL di Desa Lebah Sempage

This community service activity focuses on strengthening ecological values through the reforestation program under B3KL (Learning and Working Based on Fieldwork) in Lebah Sempage Village, Narmada District, West Lombok. The main goal is to foster environmental awareness and collective responsibility for ecosystem sustainability. This program applied a qualitative descriptive method with a participatory approach to engage local communities actively. The implementation stages included coordination with village authorities, seedling procurement, environmental education, and tree planting at the Goa Lawah tourism area. A total of 400 seedlings were planted, consisting of 150 eucalyptus, 150 ketapang kencana, and 100 pucuk merah. The results show that the program successfully increased green cover while enhancing community understanding of ecological sustainability and water resource conservation. The collaboration between students, local authorities, and community groups indicates that ecological values can be effectively strengthened through education and joint actions.

Penghijauan dan Pelestarian Lingkungan di Kawasan Wisata Batu Santek Desa Pakuan Kecamatan Narmada Lombok Barat

Batu Santek Tourism is a natural tourist destination located in Pakuan Village, Narmada
District. Its location is highly strategic, as it is not far from the main road, making it easy for
visitors from various regions to come and enjoy the natural beauty. The main attraction of this site
is the waterfall view and the serene rural atmosphere that characterizes the area.However, it is
unfortunate that environmental preservation around the tourist area has not yet been maximized,
as there has been little tree planting to enhance the landscape and maintain the ecosystem. The
total area of this tourist site is 5,000 square meters, most of which consists of yards and open land
suitable for greening activities, especially the planting of shade trees and ornamental plants. Based
on a survey, the types of plants suitable for this area include 100 red shoot trees (Syzygium
myrtifolium), 50 eucalyptus trees (Melaleuca leucadendra), and 30 ketapang kencana trees
(Terminalia mantaly). The main goal is to plant trees to maintain the area's lushness while utilizing
the ecological functions of plants, such as providing shade, absorbing pollutants, and producing
oxygen. It is hoped that this tree-planting activity will become a positive tradition for the local
community, thereby supporting the sustainability of Batu Santek tourism through the planting of
red shoot, eucalyptus, and tree saplings in strategic points across the tourist area.

Sinergi Perguruan Tinggi dan Desa dalam Pelestarian Alam Wisata Aik Nyet oleh B3KL IAIQH di Desa Buwun Sejati

B3KL (Learning, Creating, Fieldwork Based) is a program implemented by IAIQH
(Qamarul Huda Islamic Institute). Students who carry out this B3KL activity directly go into the
community and help with activities in the village, especially Buwun Sejati Village, Narmada
District, West Lombok. Planting trees or several seedlings that we carry out in the Aik Nyet
tourist area is a form of our devotion to the community with the assistance of several tourism
management teams. Because tourist attractions are one of the village's incomes to improve the
welfare of its residents by supporting village infrastructure, we B3KL IAIQH students helped by
donating 150 flower tree seedlings, namely red shoots, ketapang kencana, and eucalyptus oil.
We B3KL IAIQH students also planted in several places, one of which was in Otak Re hamlet
with 100 seedlings and 100 seedlings in RT Penkulur, so the total number of seedlings we issued
was 350+. We will report these tree seedlings to the Mataram City Environment and Forestry
Agency, as the IAIQH Campus collaborates directly with the agency. This activity is a form of
community service and supports village infrastructure development to improve the welfare of the
Buwun Sejati village community. Our activities have also been appreciated by the Village Head
and all village staff.

Pengabdian Mahasiswa B3KL IAIQH Bagu untuk Alam dan Generasi Desa Batu Putih

ABSTRACK
The Field-Based Learning and Work (B3KL) program is part of the Tri
Dharma of Higher Education, aiming to bridge academic theory with practical
experience in the community. This activity was carried out by students of Institut
Agama Islam Qamarul Huda Bagu in Labuan Poh Hamlet, Batu Putih Village,
Sekotong, West Lombok, from July 16 to August 30, 2025. The method used was
participatory observation, where students were directly involved in the
community’s daily social and environmental activities. Main programs such as tree
planting for environmental preservation, Quranic teaching at TPQ, administrative
support at the village office, and early childhood education assistance were
implemented as forms of service and empowerment. The outcomes showed positive
contributions in improving the local environmental and educational conditions.
This activity also helped shape students to become individuals with integrity,
empathy, and readiness to be agents of social change.

Peningkatan Literasi Digital Masyarakat Melalui Pelatihan Online di Desa Jero Gunung Lombok Timur

The "Increasing Digital Literacy of the Community Through Online Training in Jero Gunung Village, East Lombok" program aims to improve the understanding and digital literacy skills of rural communities. Jero Gunung Village was chosen as the location for this program because of the urgent need for digital literacy among its people. By utilizing a structured online training method, this program involves collaboration between students and local facilitators to ensure relevance and sustainability. Through a curriculum tailored to local needs, students as facilitators deliver material on basic concepts of digital literacy, use of technology, and online security practices. Training sessions are conducted interactively, including group discussions and simulations to increase active participation of participants.

Pelestarian Lingkungan melalui Program B3KL Mahasiswa IAIQH Bagu di Desa Aik Berik

B3KL student service activities (Learning to Work Based on Field Work) of the Qomarul Huda Bagu Islamic Religious Institute through reforestation in the new river tubing tourism are carried out to deal with the environmental crisis by preserving the environment through reforestation. The condition of developing areas and the changing function of space for development requires the concept of greening. Humans are one of the determining factors for efforts to preserve the environment while having the role and responsibility of empowering environmental wealth for the survival of the ecosystem. The purpose of this community service activity is to revive natural aesthetics, trees as air fresheners, and flood mitigation. Community service with greening efforts to preserve the environment uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method as a basis. The results obtained include the creation of a fresh, healthy, and cool atmosphere, nature becomes maintained and clean, and the addition of new knowledge to do reforestation through planting tree seedlings.
