Pendampingan Pembelajaran Tahsin Al-Qur'an Melalui Metode UMMI bagi Santri TPQ Miftahul Ulum
Abstract
Low quality of Quranic recitation among students, characterized by inaccuracies in makharijul huruf and tajwid rules, is the primary issue at TPQ Miftahul Ulum, Repok Gapuk. This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to improve students' tahsin skills through the implementation of the UMMI method. The implementation method includes initial observation, program socialization to TPQ administrators, intensive mentoring using tartil principles, and final evaluation of student progress. The results show a significant improvement in students' recitation quality, where they can pronounce letters according to makhraj and apply basic tajwid rules more consistently. Furthermore, the UMMI method creates a more enjoyable and organized learning atmosphere. This program has a positive impact on strengthening Quranic literacy at the village level and serves as a learning model for local TPQ teachers.
