Abstract

The demands of 21st-century competencies position Creative Skills as essential;
however, learning at Santo Arnoldus Janssen Senior High School Kupang remains focused on
cognitive aspects, limiting students’ opportunities to express creativity through digital media. This
Community Service Program (PKM) aims to empower students through participatory training that
integrates theoretical instruction with practical exercises in News Writing, Interviewing,
Photography, and Graphic Design. The program’s effectiveness was measured using pre-tests,
post-tests, and evaluations of students’ creative outputs. The results show increased understanding
and technical proficiency, demonstrated through journalistic and design works published on
Instagram @jnx7create_. The program successfully enhanced students’ creativity, confidence, and
utilization of digital media as a productive channel for expression.
