Playground: Journal of Islamic Early Childhood Education invites scholars, researchers, and practitioners to submit original manuscripts in the field of Early Childhood Education (ECE), particularly within Islamic educational perspectives. Manuscripts must be written in clear academic English or Indonesian and must not have been previously published or be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
The journal accepts articles related to early childhood education, including but not limited to: child development (cognitive, language, socio-emotional, moral, and motor), Islamic education, play-based learning, STEAM education, digital learning, artificial intelligence in education, character education, parenting and family engagement, child health and nutrition, inclusive education, educational policy, and contemporary issues such as Society 5.0 and digital literacy.
Authors are required to use reference management tools such as Mendeley or Zotero. The citation style follows APA (latest edition). References should primarily consist of recent and relevant journal articles.
The journal upholds high standards of publication ethics. Authors must ensure the originality of their work, proper citation of sources, and avoidance of plagiarism, data fabrication, and duplication. Any violation will result in rejection or retraction of the article.
The journal is published twice a year (June and December).
